Important Note for Attendees:
1) Installation of the 1tool program requires access to the
operating system by a local user with administrative rights.
2) An external mouse is necessary.
3) You must have enough USB ports available.

Introduction to 1tool (2.5 days)
The introductory course is aimed at users who are approaching the Carel® development tool for the first time. In the 1tool course, demonstrations and exercises are used to analyze the functions of the development tool. The participant will therefore have a complete overview of the functions of 1tool.
Pre-requisites
- Basic knowledge of the Windows operating system (How to Copy / Paste / Delete / Move / Select text or a file, how to create a new directory/folder, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of programming
- At least one product from the 1tool range must have been purchased.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
1tool course participants must bring a laptop computer with an external mouse; a computer is not supplied by Carel USA.
Minimum system requirements:
- Processor: Pentium 4/AMD Athlon 3 GHz or Intel/AMD Dual Core 2 GHz
- RAM: 1 GB (Windows XP), 2GB (Windows Vista)
- Hard disk: at least 3GB free space
- External mouse
- A USB port available for:
- 1tool hardware key
- USB wired/wireless mouse
- USB-485 serial converter to perform uploads to controllers
- Video with 1024 by 768 video resolution
Software requirements
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2 32 bit, Windows Vista Pro 32 bit, Windows 7 (64 bit)
- Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
*It is necessary to log in the computer as an administrative user in order to correctly install the software.
Upon course completion, a certificate of participation will be issued to each participant.
