GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMP MANAGEMENT

µGEO

Carel's µGEO is the parametric solution for the complete control of single circuit geothermal heat pumps with one or two compressors, managing the production of domestic hot water and hot or cold water for the heating or cooling system, based on the priority defined by the user.

One strong point of the µGEO is the safe and efficient management of all the components in the system (heat exchangers, compressors, valves, pumps, electric antifreeze and support heaters). This is possible thanks to the high number of I/Os provided by the hardware configuration adopted. The system features a main board, fitted with the user interface and additional card as standard. The main board is ready for panel installation, while the additional card is designed for DIN rail mounting. Wiring is performed using Molex® plug-in connectors, thus reducing space, and speeding up and simplifying assembly.Main Functions:
  • separate control of the water and ambient set point;
  • outside temperature compensation;
  • high efficiency ensured by the use of the electronic expansion valve;
  • dedicated room terminal;management of tandem compressors.
