The CVSTD0TTL0 module is a converter for connection between the EVD400 auxiliary serial port and a PC fitted with a RS232 port. This is used to configure and control the EVD400 via the supervisor protocol. The converter can also be used with any device that makes the asynchronous serial RX and TX lines avaliable at TTL levels.

The EVD*400 driver controls the refrigerant superheating managing many of the stepper electronic expansion valves now on the market. It is possible to use this driver in both air-conditioning or refrigeration applications. Moreover, the driver features a rechargeable back-up battery. The use of ratiometric pressure sensors, the bypass algorythms, the control alternative to superheating and the possibility of many configurations make EVD400 the most advanced solution now available in the HVAC/R market.

The programming key allows the instrument to be prorammed quickly when not powered, with the certainty of not having made errors. It reduces the number of product codes handled and allows the controller to be programmed in just a few seconds, even during the testing phase at the end of the production line. This is certainly an important tool for the service network.
