This device controls the electronic expansion valve even in the more extreme conditions controlling the superheating and pressure, and managing diagnostics and alarms.
It manages the most common EEV fitted with stepper available on the market. The algorithm is based on the measurements made by a fast NTC temperature sensor and a pressure sensor,
located at the evaporator outlet, and on the information on the status of the compressors. If the electronic's control of the unit is a pCO system series controller, further data display
functions and integration of the valve control algorithm with the control algorithm of the entire unit are possible via the pLAN network.

The PCO100TLN0 option is used to connect the pCO1 to a tLAN network using two separate connectors. One connector is used to connect the pCO1 to a tLAN network. Using this connection and a suitably-configured application in TLAN MASTER mode, the pCO1 can interact with the pCO I/O expansion (tLAN version - PCOE00TLN0) or with other pCO controllers fitted with a tLAN connection, configured in tLAN SLAVE mode. The second connector, on the other hand, is used to connect a PST terminal: using this connection and a suitably-configured application, the pCO1 can interact with a PST terminal.
